Welcome to AtomicFroMan's Land!!!

Who is the AtomicFroMan?

I am a computer programmer and database analyst.  I live in Lady Lake, FL and work at Pringle Homebuilding Group in Leesburg, FL.

I am a musician, a photo-bug, shade-tree mechanic, code monkey, animal lover, and recovering EverQuest addict.

Being from a Puerto Rican family, I was surrounded by guitars and singing for most of my formative years.  I picked up the guitar around 14 years old, and have been hooked ever since.

I enjoy digital photography...  A lot.  A whole lot.  I started playing around with cameras about a year ago and since the purchase of my latest toy, a Toshiba PDR-M25 digital camera, I am showing no signs of stopping.

I, like many red blooded American men, am a car lover.  I have a soft spot for old Chevy's.  Specifically, this one, my 1968 Caprice.

I cannot stop writing code!  I love solving problems, even non-existent ones, with computers.  I started with simple database apps, and have gone in many directions, in many languages since then.  You can check out some of the apps I have written in my Programs section. I have written some software to assist eBay sellers to better understand the profit potential for their items, I call it the Ebay Item ProfitCaster. It is an ebay fee calculator that covers auction style and store listings.

I admit it, I am an animal lover.  Especially cats.  Dogs are nice and all, but there is just something so nice about not having to run home to take a dog for a walk.  Cats are independent, but also very loving.  This is the perfect combination for a guy who often works long odd hours and cannot always be home at just the right moment to avoid a poop pile in the middle of the living room.

I am on the EverQuest Addicts 8 step program.

  1. Admit you have a problem.
  2. Log off the game and step outside.
  3. Realize that the big light in the sky is the sun, and it is your friend.
  4. Understand that you do not have to /con everyone around you before you talk to them.
  5. Come to terms with your bad faction with your RL friends.
  6. Understand that most folks just have no idea what "oom" means.
  7. Try to stop using emotes in emails to your boss.  Such as /grovel Sorry I was late again
  8. Stop paying Sony $12.95 a month to maintain your 12 characters.

I am somewhere between 7 and 8 right now, I just don't want to throw away all those great hours of faction raising (and lowering!), power-leveling, and in game hi-jinks.
